Come Help Us Help Others! Sisterhood invites everyone to join in Help us make simple blankets for Immigrant Families in Need Sunday, March 24, 2019 10:30AM

Making these simple blankets is really easy! If you can cut and tie knots, you know how to do it. Sisterhood will provide the fabric, but we could use some sharp scissors suitable for cutting fleece. (No pinking shears) Bring the kids and make it a family project. We are taking donations of bathroom tote bags filled with articles such as bar soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, small bottles of shampoo, lotion, deodorant, sanitary supplies, wash cloths and small toys for little children. The blankets and totes will be taken by Albuquerque volunteers to shelters for recent immigrants operated by El Paso welfare organizations and given to families staying at several locations. We’ll be serving a light brunch of bagels, cream cheese and beverages. There is no charge, but to make sure we buy enough food, please let us know you are coming by calling Roberta Sparks at 417-2586, or enter your information below no later than March 20.

Make reservations for the Blanket Making Project below. Be sure to include an email address. No payment necessary.
