Six beautiful, colorful fleece blankets were made by Sisterhood members for the DVora Project following a light brunch on March 19. These blankets will
be distributed to clients of the project which serves abused and battered women and children in our Albuquerque community.
Prior to starting the blankets, Diane Chodorow, chairwoman of the project , described the purpose of DVora and how it helps those
who are in need of its services.
Then Diane and Dawn Stewart provided the group with instructions for cutting and tying the fringe. For over an hour, there was a flurry of activity with
fringes being cut into the fleece and then tied in knots. The result? Six comfy blankets to comfort and warm those in need. Click HERE to see pictures from the event!
